Now that things have finally calmed down a little... I got my first order from StickerApp a couple of weeks ago!
Ordering was super simple. They have a huge variety of materials you can print on. You have to order pretty large batches, though. I'd love to experiment more with them when I get a little more established, and I'm a little more confident in my ability to move them all.
They're also pretty affordable for what you get. Even the most basic ones feel really nice and durable! And free standard shipping is definitely a bonus!
That said, be wary if you're ordering for a specific deadline. Even if the standard shipping will get them to you before your deadline, with a few days to spare, you might want to go for the expedited shipping.
I ordered them to be given away and sold at OCADU gradex. My expected delivery time frame should have given me around 2-10 days before the show started, and about a week before it ended. I could give them to the store at any time to be sold, but the earlier the better.
A couple days after the last day of the ETA, I had nothing. So I sent them an email. First I got a hold of Lucas. Lucas was super accommodating, and super helpful, and just a swell guy! While his first instinct was to blame the USPS, once I pointed out that they were shipped LITERALLY one business day before the last day of the expected arrival, he immediately apologized, and told me that if they didn't make it in time for the event, they would absolutely make it right. Awesome!
So Gradex finished, and I still had no stickers. According to the tracking, they started in Pennsylvania, and then decided to go on a little vacation in Miami. I sent another email. This time I got Amity. 'm pretty sure she didn't read any of the emails Lucas and I had exchanged, as she also blamed USPS, but refused to acknowledge that their company had any fault in the issue.
Eventually I managed to get a refund on the stickers. They arrived three weeks late. So depending on who you get, their customer service is generally pretty good. If they mess up, they will do what they can to make things right.
The stickers themselves are mostly really nice! As I mentioned above, they seem super sturdy and I love that. These things feel so freakin durable! The image quality is a little grainy, but that might be something to do with the original image being so large, or the fact that they're watercolour images, as opposed to flatter, smoother colours.
Six of them also arrived with this weird little line/bubble thing. I had already received a refund so I wasn't going to complain. But that's still kind of lame.
Overall, I think I'd probably give them a solid 7.5/10 rating. I'd definitely like to order from them again, especially if I don't have such a strict deadline!
These babbies (The nice ones, anyway) should be up on my store pretty soon, so stay tuned you crazy kids.
